2010 Pony Express Days 5K and Fun Run

Location: LDS Stake Center 4506 E Pony Express Pkwy., Eagle Mountain, UT.
Date: June 5, 2010 @ 7:30 a.m. for the 5K (buses provided to start line) Fun Run @ 8:30 a.m. Stake Center.

This race is a fund-raiser for the new school in Eagle Mountain, Mountain Trails Elementary. The funds raised will also benefit local resident Ric Thompson with “Wrestlers Against Cancer.” We thank you for your support.

Race course: For the 5K, meet @ the LDS Stake Center, 4506 E Pony Express Pkwy., Eagle Mountain. Buses will take you to the start line and racers will finish at the Stake Center. If you miss the bus you cannot park a car at the start line so be on time! See schedule below. The Fun Run (1K) will start at the Stake Center.
5K Race Entry fee: $20.00 includes T-Shirt (adult unisex sizing)
Fun Run Entry Fee: $10.00 includes T-shirt (youth unisex sizing)
Prizes: Get Fit Athletic Wear is providing a $50 store gift certificate to the overall first place male and female runner and a $25.00 certificate to the male and female second place winner. Gift cards, concert tickets, gift baskets or other donations for a raffle are being provided by:
Café Rio, Arctic Circle, Denny's, Tokyo Restaurant of Lehi, Village Pizza, WalMart, Stampin' Up, Gotta Dance, In Motion, Anytime Fitness, Family First Dental, Carma Gray Photography, Fresh Market, Lay's Chips, Eagle Mountain City, Golden Ticket, MaryAnne Salon, and the National Guard.
Main Registration ends: May 21, 2010
On-line Late Registration: May 22-June 1 with a $5.00 late fee and no T-shirt provided.
THERE IS NO registration available the day of the race.
RACE PACKET PICK UP: June 3,4 from 6-9 p.m. at Get Fit Athletic Wear. Please try to pick up your packet before the day of the race so that long lines don't delay the buses on race day. The Get Fit store is located at 11055 N. Alpine Hwy. in Highland Ph#: 801-216-4467 www.getfitathleticwear.com. Cindy Helquist, the race director, will be at the store to pass out the packets.If you come to the store before 6 p.m., you may have to wait a bit until an employee of Get Fit can assist you.
Race Day Check in: 6:00-6:30 a.m. LDS Stake Center, 4506 E. Pony Express Pkwy., Eagle Mountain
Cars will be parked at the stake center. NO Parking at the race start location.
Buses to the start are being provided.
Bus Schedule:
Buses leave: 7:00 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. *If you miss the bus you cannot drive to the starting line.
Start time for 5K: 7:30 a.m. SHARP! *Race course takes you back to the Stake Center
Fun Run Start: 8:30 a.m. *Held near the Stake Center parking lot.
