The Mountainville Academy running club is excited to announce their first annual 5k race. We are a small charter school in Alpine with a lot of BIG ideas. One of our BIG ideas is that everyone should live a healthy lifestyle. We encourage our students to live a healthy lifestyle, and we encourage them to be leaders in the community. Much of the planning and organizing of this event will be done by our students. We want to invite everyone to join us in promoting fitness in the community. We hope that this fun event will show the community that we are serious about fitness, and that we want to encourage everyone to be more active!
Everyone is invited to run in this event. It doesn't matter if you are a pro runner or just someone who wants to get some exercise. If you don't think you can run that far, you are welcome to walk the course as well. The course is full of beautiful panoramic views of the mountains and I'm sure you will all have a fabulous time!
Things to know after you sign up:
1. You may not run the race until you sign and return the Insurance Waiver. Please print it off and have it ready when you check in. You will find the insurance waiver on the Mountainville Academy website. Click on the Schedule link above to go to the web site.

3. To pick up your race bib, t-shirt, and any other information please report to the starting line registration table NO LATER THAN 8:30 am on May 21. The registration table will be open as early as 7:30 am on the morning of the race.
4. All children who are under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the race.
5. There will not be a water station on this race. We will have water, fruit, etc. at the finish line. Also there is a drinking fountain at the park on 100 s. that you can drink from if necessary.
6. At The Finish Line we will have a variety of different activities set up for those friends and family members to do while they are waiting to support their runner.
