The Salt Lake City Police Foundation presents the 3rd Annual Beat The Heat 5K race. Proceeds from registration fees will benefit:
- Salt Lake City Police Foundation, whose mission is to support the SLCPD by providing grants to improve the community through youth programs and other community outreach.
- Shriners Hospital for Children to help kids and their families
Registration is only $20 when you pre-register by October 13th. Online registration will close on October 14th at 8:00 p.m. Race morning registration will be from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m. and will be $30.
Cash and Race prizes will be awarded!
Kids 1K Fun Run is Free and begins at 9am. The Fun Run will be led by Chief Burbank. Check in begins at 8:30am.
Race bag and bib number pick up is on race day (Saturday morning) between 7:00 am and 7:55 am.
Register before midnight on 10/12/2011 to guarantee a t-shirt on race day. If you register after 10/12/11, and we run out of t-shirtson the day of the race, you can pick up your t-shirts at Shriners hospital on 10/24/11- 10/25/11 between 9:00am-5:00pm.
