Note From Race Director:
On July 29, 2010 our family's lives changed forever when our two-year-old son, Chris, was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes. Though it has just been a short time since his diagnosis, it has been a roller-coaster of a ride for all of us, especially Chris.
As a family we have always found joy in Recreation and running road races. In fact, Chris ran his first 1 mile kid's race 1 week before he was diagnosed. This is why we decided to host our own Diabetes road race and raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Come join us as we all make a difference!
This year we will have the Crazy Pancreas 5K, 1 mile run/walk, 1/2 mile kids race and the Crazy 10K. Registration is open! Register early as prices go up after April 7th and June 30th. Also, all t-shirt orders must be received no later than June 7th. Check-in and race morning registration is from 6:15 to 7:15 a.m. at Stuart Park (T-shirts not available race morning, must be pre-ordered). 5K, 10K & 1 mile begin @ 7:30am and the ½ mile kids race starts @ 9am.
5K & 10K age divisions: 11 & Under, 12-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
1 Mile age division: Open 1-39, Masters 40+
Kid's age divisions: 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12
