Race #4 in the South Jordan Race Series is our Annual Country Fest 5K located along the banks of the Jordan River. This is a paved trail and road loop course that kicks off the festivities for the rest of the day. After the race enjoy a full day of activities for the whole family starting with the Lyon?s Club Breakfast at City Park, and the Country Fest Parade. All runners receive Country Fest Race Shirts. Awards for 1st - 3rd in each age group, and all runners have the opportunity to enter our raffle for great prizes from our race sponsors. After the race enjoy a full day of activities for the whole family starting with the Sponsor Breakfast at City Park, Country Fest Parade, carnival, concert, and fireworks.
Online registration will close at 5:00 pm MDT on Friday, June 15th.
Packet pick-up will begin at 5:45 am race morning.
Race Series information:
All participants will receive a wickify race series technical shirt, pre race goodies, and a race series bag with goodies from our sponsors. Top 3 individuals in each division will receive a medal. Overall 1st place male and female runners will receive awards. Middle of the pack winner will win a new pair of shoes. Middle of the pack winner is an opportunity for all runners to win a great prize. Middle of the pack winner will be decided by splitting the number of male and female runners and taking the top person from the lower half of finishers.
There will also be a male and female winner for the entire 2012race series. Award will be given away after the last event. Points will be awarded as followed:
1st place- 150 points
2nd place- 125 points
3rd place 100 points
4th-10th place- 50 points
Participation in race finishing out of top ten- 10 points
