Race #3 in the South Jordan Race Series. What is the most recycled thing in the U.S.? The mighty dollar! Show your love for Mother Earth and Race in our Earth Day 10K Green Run! All runners have the chance to win a little bit of green for their pocket! Purchase a tree or flower while at the race and enter the cash drawing. Every runner receives the Earth Day Race Shirt and 1st - 3rd in each age group are awarded.
Online registration will close at 5:00 pm MDT on Wednesday, April 18th.
Packet Pick Up from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the fitness center on Friday evening and at the start beginning at 9:30 a.m. Day-of-race registration will be available until 10:00 a.m.
Race Series information:
All participants will receive a wickify race series technical shirt, pre race goodies, and a race series bag with goodies from our sponsors. Top 3 individuals in each division will receive a medal. Overall 1st place male and female runners will receive awards. Middle of the pack winner will win a new pair of shoes. Middle of the pack winner is an opportunity for all runners to win a great prize. Middle of the pack winner will be decided by splitting the number of male and female runners and taking the top person from the lower half of finishers.
There will also be a male and female winner for the entire 2012 race series. Award will be given away after the last event. Points will be awarded as followed:
1st place- 150 points
2nd place- 125 points
3rd place- 100 points
4th-10th place- 50 points
Participation in race finishing out of top ten- 10 points
