This year, tradition prevails and we will begin and end both races at the Salem Pond. It is a fun family event with lots of raffle prizes for all ages. There will be cash prizes awarded to the male and female winner of the 5K and 1 mile races, and awards given 3 deep to every age division. Early registration is encouraged to guarantee a t-shirt. Clydesdale is 200+ lbs. for men, and Athena is 140+ lbs. for women.
PARKING WILL BE AT SALEM ELEMENTARY, 100 WEST 100 SOUTH. Thank you for your cooperation in parking at the Salem Elementary School and walking across the bridge to Salem Pond!!! SIGNS WILL BE POSTED TO EASILY DIRECT YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.
Pre-registration is $15 per person until August 8th. Family rate is $50. ****Families must register at the Salem City Offices, located at 30 West 100 South**** Same day registration is $20 per individuals and $60 per family.
Online registration and "in-person" registration will close on Wednesday, August 8th. People may register in person at the Salem City Offices, located at 30 West 100 South. Packet pick-up will be on Friday, August 10th at the Salem Pond from 6pm - 8pm, as well as the morning of the race at the Salem Pond from 6:00 a.m. ? 6:45 am.
*Same day registration will close at 6:45 am!!!
**The 1 mile will start promptly at 7 a.m.!!! The 5K will start at 7:30 a.m.!!!
***T-shirt sizes run just a little large, so please select accordingly***
