Note From Meet Director: MEET INFORMATION AND ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS
1. ALL coaches and athletes must remain outside of the Track unless competing, i.e. long jumping or high jumping.
2. Athletes may use the infield for warmup, but no food or drink (other than water) is allowed on the infield. Only athletes who are warming up will be allowed on the infield.
3. In order to qualify for the District Championships, athletes need to have placed in the top 8 in their event at the North End or South End meets. The top 4 relay teams from both the North End and the South End also qualify for the District Championships. Teams can list up to 6 athletes in the relay events. 4 of those athletes need to be the ones who ran at the North End and South End meets, the other 2 are alternates.
4. Please submit the athletes marks from the North End and South End Meets. Heats/ Lanes/ Flights/ Order will be determined by the marks submitted.
5. Registration will be done through www.runnercard.com. Coaches will need to have the registration completed by Monday, May 20 at 5:00pm. Call or email if you have any difficult getting the entries done through runnercard.
6. The top times/marks entered will be placed in the second heat in the running events and at the end of the jumping/throwing order in the field events.
7. All implements must be weighed in prior to the meet. Weigh-in will be located in the southeast corner of the track.
8. The charge for spectators will be $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for students. Coaches and athletes in uniform will be admitted for free.
9. All entry will be through the South gates of the stadium.
10. Starting heights will be determined by the entry marks.
11. Athletes should report to the starting line or field event area at first call.
12. We will score eight (8) places, and will include marks from all heats and flights. The eagle-eye timing system will be used.
a. Individual events and relays will be scored: 10 - 8 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1
13. Shot Put, Discus, and Long Jump contestants will have three (3) attempts in the trials. The top eight (8) will advance into the finals for an additional three attempts.
14. A three-turn stagger will be used in the 4x400m relay. The first runner stays in their lane the entire distance. The second runner stays in their lane until the break line at the start of the straightaway. The Medley Relay will use a 2 turn stagger.
15. The Games Committee will consist of one coach or representative from each school. The Meet Referee will be Corbin Talley.
