New Winter Fest routes Come run the LaVerkin twist! The 10K is an out and back, it will start at the LaVerkin Wanlass Park, 320 N Main. Runners will go north on Main Street, make a right onto Highway 9, stay on 9 until they reach the LaVerkin Look off road, they will then make a right onto the dirt road and travel for a half of a mile till they reach the aid station and the turn around spot. The first half of this new route is challenging as it is mostly up hill. The second half of the course will be fast paced as it follows the same route back down the hill. The views of Pine Valley and surrounding areas are amazing! All 10K runners must run within the coned areas. The right lane will be coned off for the runners to use, until the second lane ends. At that point, runners will need to run on the edge of the road or next to the road on the dirt/gravel area. All 5k and 10K runners will be required to sign a waiver. The wavier must be signed at packet pick-up or at the LaVerkin City office, anytime before the race.

For those of you who would like a less intense run but still beautiful, we have our traditional 5K, revised. The new 5K route is the old 5K route backwards, plus a couple of areas have been changed as well.

We will again hold our treasure hunt in the park. Come and search for treasures from our amazing sponsors. This year we will feature the very popular A4 long sleeve technical shirts to keep you warm.

Packet pick up is Friday, December 1st at the LaVerkin City office, 435 N Main, 5-7:30 pm and December 2nd at the LaVerkin Park, 320 N Main, 7:30 am. Treasure Hunt at 8:15 am. Races begin at 9:00 am.

Registration fees 5k is $14.00 and 10k is $19.00 thru Oct. 20th.
Oct. 21 thru Nov 17 registration fees will be: 5K is $20.00 and the 10K will be $25.00
Late registration Nov 18 through Dec 2 is 5k is $25 and 10K is $30.00.
(On-line registration will close at 6:00 pm on Nov. 31.)
