Event Information

The Albany County CattleWomen, formerly Cow-Belles, and the Interfaith Good Samaritan would like to invite you to the first ever Beefy 5K, in Laramie, WY. The goal for the Beefy 5K is to provide beef for individuals in need. The proceeds from the race will go to purchasing approximately 1000 pounds of ground beef for about 500 individuals in Albany County, WY.

Race day registration will begin at 8:30 AM.

The race will be on Saturday, September 27 at 10 AM.

$20 for early registration
$25 for registration August 28 to September 12, 2014
$30 for day of event
Sorry, no refunds.

Walkers, wheelchairs, strollers, and dogs are welcome.

Please bring your own water for the race. There will be water provided at the start/finish line but none will be provided on the course. Thank you.

Dog Policy:
Our goal is to provide a well-organized race with quality timing, awards, and an overall excellent event. In order to meet this goal we have the below rules pertaining to dogs:
• Dog owners must have control over their dog at all times during the event
• All dogs must remain on a leash at all times while at the event
• Owners must clean up any dog waste left on or near the race course
• Only well-behaved dogs will be allowed to participate in the event
• Race participants who want to run/walk with their dog(s) must wait at the back at the race start behind runners and non-dog walkers
• If a dog or dog owner is found to be disrupting the event, they will be politely asked to leave the race site as to provide the best possible experience for the general participant population
• Please use common sense and be respectful of others

Additional parking will be available courtesy of the Wyoming Territorial Prison.
