Registration is $15 for adults (18 and up) and $10 for youth/children. Registration will close on
Thursday, September 24th at midnight. There will be no race-morning registration.
This 5 Mile ?symbolic steeplechase? was organized in celebration of the opening of the second temple in South Jordan (the only city in the world with two). The course starts at the new Oquirrh Mountain Temple and will end at the Jordan River Temple. It is meant to be a fun run/walk for all ages and abilities. The focus is on finishing the race at your own pace, not racing against others. Every finisher is a winner and will receive a specially-designed key chain medallion. We hope this event will be an especially meaningful experience for the youth, many who are doing it together in small groups. Along the route pay attention to highlights and obstacles, and see how they relate to real life. (Then, let me know afterwards. I really want to hear from you!)
Proceeds from this charity race will benefit children at the Christmas Box House, an organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of abused and neglected children who have been removed from their harmful environments. We are pleased to be contributing to their worthwhile
