The Salt Lake Area Domestic Violence Coalition (SLADVC), in partnership with the South Valley Sanctuary (a domestic violence shelter), is hosting the first annual Stepping Up: Communities Against Violence 5K event at the beautiful Liberty Park. This event aims to promote awareness about domestic violence and engage community members in our efforts to create an environment where domestic violence is not tolerated. Proceeds will benefit the South Valley Sanctuary.
After the run, there will be an awards ceremony and participants will enjoy lunch in the park. Purchase additional lunch tickets for family and friends with registration. There will be food, music, and fantastic prizes! Your registration includes a free t-shirt, a lunch ticket, a prize drawing ticket, and a chance to make a difference. A reduced rate is available for children 12 and under or if you register as a team of 4 or more people. (Register all team members on the same paper registration.)
