Note From Meet Director: *The Therman Jordan Relays will be run in Two Divisions: JV/Varsity Boys and JV/Varsity Girls.
*This is an NMAA sanctioned event and a State Qualifier Event.
*Registration closes April 05 2018 @800 P.M. No add-ins.
*Coaches Meeting will be 0800 at Fieldhouse SW of Track. Weigh Ins will be at Fieldhouse SW of Track.
*FAT Timing will be used
*Three Athletes per event.
*Scoring will be 7-5-4-3-2-1 for individual events and 10-8-6-4-2-1 for relays.
*Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, and ribbons will be awarded for 4th, 5th, and 6th place. JV athletes will not receive medals or ribbons.
*Team Trophies for 1st and 2nd.
*High Point awards will be given for the high point male and female athletes.
*Long jump,Triple jump,Shot Put, Discus,Javelin, High Jump and Pole Vault will get four jumps or throws, No finals.
*All running events are finals. Only one relay per team. Starting blocks will be provided. You may bring and use your own. Tape and tennis balls permitted.
*1/4 inch spikes or rubber soles must be used on track and run ways. The Clerk of the course and judges will inspect athlete's spikes. Non regulation spikes will be removed.
*Only coaches and contestants that are warming up are allowed to be on the infield. Absolutely no parents permitted. Javelin will be thrown on the main football from north to south, area will be flagged off.
*All rules that govern Track and Field through the National Federation and NMAA will apply. All events will be seeded slowest to fastest with fastest being the last heat.
*Coaches and athletes are NOT to approach the time keepers. Time keepers will approach athletes ONLY to ask for their name and school.
*Team camps may be set up in the bleachers or in areas not marked off outside the track.
*Boom boxes will not be allowed in team camps or in the stands.
*Results and scoring will be in the press box.
*Weight Mans relay will be run. (Time permitting) One male and female team or Co-Ed Team.
