Dear Coaches,
Below you will find information you will need for the Canutillo Middle School Cross Country Invitational on September 20, 2018.
The meet will start at 4:15p.m. The order will be 8th boys, 8th girls, 7th boys, 7th girls.
A map of the trail can be found on the CMS Website under Athletics and Cross Country.
Please have all entries posted on Runnercard by Tuesday, Sept.18th by 12:00 p.m. Please enter all athletes that might compete. We will not be able to add athletes at the meet.
All Coaches need to report to the coaches meeting by 3:30 p.m. to pick up your packets. A table will be located under one of the blue tents.
We want to run an efficient meet and will not be able to wait on athletes. Please remind your athletes to stay in the stands unless they are warming up for an event. They should not be by the finish line or on the track or football field when competition is taking place. All athletes need to stay around the start line when warming up for the race. Please avoid standing near the shoot or scores table.
Please remind your athletes they must be in a school issued uniform.
We will have a concession stand open for all athletes and spectators. The restrooms are located next to the concession stand. Please ask your athletes to stay in the track area. We may have other activities going on in the gym and it will be off limits to all athletes. We would like each school to clean their area in the bleachers before you leave. Please ask your athletes to use the trash cans so we can keep the field clean. We appreciate you help in this matter.
Bus and Spectator Parking: Please have your buses drop your athletes off in the back next to the Football stadium. The buses will then go and park at Gallegos Park next to the Swimming Pool/Senior Citizen Center. They may pull back around after the meet to pick up the athletes. All spectators need to park in the front of the building or next to Gallegos Park. A side gate from Gallegos to our campus will be open. The parents can also come through the CMS building to get to the stadium. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARK IN THE BACK NEXT TO THE STADIUM. The only exception will be for Handicapped Parking. Please ask your spectators to stay in the stands during the competition.
