Note From Meet Director:
Welcome to the 17th Annual Warrior Cross Country Invitational at Matchett Park in Grand Junction on Saturday, August 22nd, 2020. Due to CHSAA health guidelines this is an invite only meet with restricted number of athletes per team (See Below). Please follow all CHSAA COVID 19 guidelines during meet. We are encouraging teams to limit spectators and ask that people do not gather near start and finish line areas. If they attend please spread out on the course and maintain social distancing. Masks are required at all times except while actually running for both athletes and spectators.
Tentative Schedule of Events:
7:00-8:00am - Packet Pick-up
8:00am - Boys Race Wave 1
8:05am - Boys Race Wave 2
8:45am - Girls Race Wave 1
8:50am - Girls Race Wave 2
Teams and # of runners allotted:
Girls Teams(50): CHS(8 runners), FMHS(7 runners), GJHS(7 runners), PHS(7 runners), Caprock(7 runners), Glenwood(7 runners), Eagle Valley(1 runner), Rifle (6 runners)
Boys Teams(50): CHS(8 runners), FMHS(7 runners), GJHS(7 runners), PHS(7 runners), Caprock(7 runners), Glenwood(7 runners), Eagle Valley(1 runnerr), Rifle (6 runners)
Awards: Awards will be given to coaches after completion of races to avoid gathering for award ceremonies. All results will only be posted online at RunnerCard.
Fees: $150 per school (covers both Boys & Girls teams) Please bring check to meet payable to Central High School or mail a check to:
