*YWLA: long jump (behind visitor bleachers)
*Eastwood Knolls: Triple jump (behind visitor bleachers), timer, relay judge, hurdles, discus
*Del Valle: shot put (facing Lee Trevino). Use both circles, 7th and 8th. Boys, then girls. After Shot put: Clerk, relay judge
*Hanks: clerk, starter, timers, relay judges, scoring
*All schools provide stopwatches and measuring tapes.
*Priority after warm-up are steps at the long and triple jump. Athletes may NOT run backwards on the runway!! They will need to know their steps via a measuring tape and marking with chalk or tape. No rocks or other hard objects placed on the track or runway.
***We will combine events whenever possible. ie: boys and girls 2400m/1600m or 7th and 8th, relays combined.
***100/110m hurdles will be the second event, run after the 2400m race.
***Hurdle Heights: 30 inches 100 meters; 36 inches 110 meters; 7G/ 8G/ 7B-30 inches for 300 meter hurdles. 8B is the only race at 33 inches3 for 300 meter hurdles.
***Schools will have unlimited entries for the 1600m and 2400m, provided those athletes have not reached their maximum for events. Only top three from each team will score.
***Non-scorers can be added to events as long as there isn't an extra heat created, an extra one or two athletes.
