Welcome to the Mountain View Cross Country Invitational. Mtn View HS and Fabens
HS would like to welcome your runners, coaches, and family to Mtn View HS and the Red
Sands area.
The meet will be held at Mountain View High School and head into the dunes at Red Sands. This is a new course that hasn't been run before. Runners now go south at the dunes. There is an Open 2 mile course for the teams that generally run 2 miles.
It will take place on SATURDAY, AUGUST 30, 2025, starting promptly at 8:00 AM.
Coaches Meeting and Bib Pickup at 7:30 AM at finish line.
SIGNUP CLOSES 9:00 AM THURSDAY, AUGUST 28, 2025
Order of competitions:
Varsity Girls 5 km
Varsity Boys 5 km
JV Girls 5 km
JV Boys 5 km
Open Girls 2 miles
Open Boys 2 km
(Open races may be combined if participation is low)
Distance: 2 miles girls/ 5.2 km
Course: Race consists of grass football field, track, gravel, dirt roads, packed sand, and
soft sand dunes. If wearing spikes there is about 20 meters of pavement
Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top 10 finishers
