Note From Meet Director: Dear coaches;
The 2013 Region 12 Track Championships will be held at Carbon High School this year. Registration for this meet is restricted to Region 12 Schools only. This meet will use a Finish Lynx Timing System.
Registration will close at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. A coaches meeting will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Team packets will be available at 3:00 p.m. at which time coaches should be ready to submit any athlete scratches, changes or additions. No additions or substitutions will be made after 3:30 p.m. Track and Field Events will start at 4:00 p.m.
The meet will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2012. Any changes in registrations must e submitted by 12:00 p.m. After that time changes will be limited to scratches only.
Implement weigh-ins will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday and 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each athlete may participate in up to 4 events and each team will be limited to 4 athletes per event. Each school will be limited to one relay team per event.
This meet is held on a Mondo track surface. Athletes must use pyramid spikes not to exceed 1/4 inch in length. No tree or needle spikes are allowed. Any athlete who shows up to the starting line with unauthorized spikes will be disqualified. Spike restrictions also apply to Javelin throwers. Spikes will be sold at the meet.
