Note From Meet Director:
Welcome to the 15th Annual RTCS Track & Field Invitational at the RMU Island Sports Center's rebranded P3R Track & Field Complex on Neville Island. The track has been completely resurfaced (a Beynon track surface like for the US Olympic Trials!) and reconfigured so that the home stretch is now in front of the bleachers and the start of the 100M Dash and sprint hurdles closest to the track entrance. We have arranged to have Fully-Automatic Timing (FAT) for the track events.

Please find the provisional Meet Schedule (currently subject to change) via the hyperlink above (under 15th). Athletes may enter in up to four (4) individual events PLUS any relays as usual. Some events, such as the distance races (800M, 1600M & 3200M), the throwing events (shot, discus & turbojav) and the horizontal jumps (LJ & TJ), will permit more than 3 athletes per team. However, only 3 per school will be eligible to score points. Schools may enter more than 1 relay team but only the fastest one will be eligible for a place finish.
Like last year, we will be the running the 4x400M Mixed Relay (in place of the traditional 4x400M for each division). Two girls and two boys will make up both the 4x400M Middle School Mixed Relay and the 4x400M High School Mixed Relay. As always, no Middle School participant may compete in the High School competition (and, of course, vice versa.) A competitor's birth certificate determines his or her participation classification for this and all events.
Reference the Meet Schedule for the weight/size of the TurboJav thrown in each division. We expect to have two (2) certified PIAA Meet Officials for the track, and one USATF certified Head Field Judge.
COST: $10 per athlete (with a 32 athlete cap per school; E.g., If Resurrection Academy has 35 athletes, Resurrection Academy pays $10 x 32).

SCHOOL TEAM PAYMENT: Checks should be made payable to "RTCS" and must be POSTMARKED BY WEDNESDAY, APRIL 20 to: Attn: INVITATIONAL, RTCS, 77 PHILLIPS LN, MCKEES ROCKS, PA 15136. Mark "INVITATIONAL FOR [Name of School]" on memo section of the check.
INDIVIDUAL ENTRANTS PAYMENT (not associated with a participating school or home-school group): Must pay online when registering.

EVENT SIGN-UP: Online ONLY. Final event entries and updates to seed times and distances CLOSE at 10PM, Wednesday, April 27.
Please don't wait until the last moment but begin entering your athletes into events asap. You may keep updating them until the Wednesday, 4/27 deadline at 10:00PM. No entries can be made after this as event seeding is done that evening. Only scratches or eligible relay substitutions will be permitted on the day of the meet. When entering times or distances, particularly in the sprints, please use only actual times (even if simply a time trial) from this season.
